How it helped us ride together

When my son learned to ride a bike, I wanted to cycle alongside him. But there was one worry: what if he couldn't hear or understand me shouting “Stop!” as we approached an intersection?

Sena pi gave us a continuous, hands-free voice connection, allowing me to speak directly to him while riding. It made a real difference — helping us enjoy bike rides together with greater confidence.

How it helped us ski together

My son learned to control his skis quite well, but he would sometimes forget to keep making turns to control his speed and start heading straight downhill. He needed me to keep calling out the rhythm: “Left, right, left, right.”

SENA Snowtalk 2 made that possible. It let me ski ahead, show him the way, and keep giving him those simple spoken cues as we moved.

That made a real difference for us, allowing us to ski together with much more confidence, even on very large slopes.

How it helped us during swim lessons

My son has always loved the water, but when it came time to learn to swim properly, we needed an instructor to work with him.

The difficulty was communication. In the water, he normally could not wear his processor, and the instructor was not used to teaching a deaf child.

MED-EL WaterWear helped bridge that gap. It allowed my son to hear the instructor’s voice during practice, making it much easier for him to understand the instructions and follow the lesson.

It made swim training much more practical for us and gave the instructor a much better way to communicate with him.
